Best time to visit Maceio
Air temperatures in Maceio are fairly stable throughout the year. They do not drop below 73ºF/23ºC, even in July and August (the coldest months), while maximum summer temperatures rarely climbing beyond 86ºF/30ºC.
The rainy season (and the months with most humidity) goes from March to August, and you should pay attention to it. Rain in this area is rarely heavy and doesn’t last for very long, but you should consider it anyway. The rainy months are also associated with lower temperatures, and rain may spoil - or at least affect - your holiday plans.
The high season – like in most other Brazilian travel destinations - goes from December to the Carnival (February or beginning of March). July and August also bring American and European tourists, with a small impact on prices. Months such as November (low season) are a good time to get lower prices and excellent weather conditions.
Obviously, for those planning a few tours in the area, and who are looking for fun and to experience popular Brazilian events, the high season months are the best time to visit Maceio.
As important as choosing the best month to book your travel to Maceio is to choose the week. Choose a week with very lowest sea tides (full moon or new moon weeks) if you can. Inform yourself when planning the trip. Tides at their lowest points will allow you to walk among incredible natural sea water pools.
